Treadmill workouts

Listening to music – Stick some wires in your ears and listen to your MP3 player.  Only problem is, those little ear buds keep falling out when the pace is quickened.

Watching TV- You can drag your treadmill into the house and park it in front of the TV, but who wants a treadmill in the middle of the living room.  Besides, you ever try dragging a treadmill into another room of the house?  I did.  Mine’s a folding one and I thought it would be easy.  Only thing is, it didn’t stay folded.  It was like wrestling a 300-lb jackknife.  LOL

Garage workout – Put the treadmill in the garage and stick a TV out there.  I did that for a couple of years, but the garage is subject to massive temperature changes.  It’s either an oven or a meat locker.

Spare bedroom – If you’re lucky enough to have a spare room in your house you can turn it into a mini gym and put your treadmill in there.  Then you can set up the TV and all the stereo equipment you want.

Get a laptop holder – Get some kind of laptop holder that you can use while on the treadmill so you can watch TV online, but good luck finding something inexpensive much less something that’s designed in such a manner that you can use it while working out.

Ghetto board setup – You can lay a board across the treadmill’s arms and put a laptop on it, but pray it doesn’t vibrate off causing you to take a tumble, scraping the skin off your knees and knocking out your front teeth.
